Assumption College Sriracha understands how important it is for your child to learn English. English is the most commonly used language amongst foreign language speakers and it’s the international language of business. Our Modern Language Program helps prepare students for the outside world and our students will have greater international opportunities and job prospects. In 2004, Assumption College Sriracha was approved by the Ministry of Education to establish the Modern Language Program.

We stress the total development of each child: spiritual, moral, intellectual,social, emotional, and physical. English language is at the core of our program and the students will be prepared for succeeding in the global community.

Mission

•  Classes are conducted according to the National Curriculum.
•  Students receive individual attention in class sizes ranging from 25-30 children.
•  Fully qualified and experienced English speakers teach students by using the English language in Science, Math, Art, Home economics, Information Technology and English lessons.
•  Thai teachers hold at minimum a bachelor’s degree in the subject that they teach or assist in.
•  We use international books from Cambridge and Oxford University for our main subjects like English, Math and Science.
•  All primary (G.1 – G.6) and lower secondary students (G.7 – G.9) take the internationally recognized Cambridge Young Learners, KET and PET examinations.
•  Our higher secondary students (G.10 – G.12) will be prepared for IELTS, SAT and HSK. Our goal is for every student to pass these tests in order for them to be able to enroll in the best universities around the world.

OUR PROGRAM

• Lessons

Engaging, exciting and challenging interactive lessons help students develop a clear way of thinking on how to enhance their skills in English and other subjects.

 

• Teachers

All our foreign teachers are carefully selected, have teaching experience and are highly dedicated and professional.

All our teachers also attend seminars on a regular base in order to continuously improve themselves and to develop their teaching methods.

 

• Students

Students enrolled in the MLP interact and socialize with other students outside of the Modern Language Program. As a result, they learn valuable team building skills in a balanced environment, as recommended by the Ministry of Education.

The Modern Language Program also conducts additional supporting activities so the students are able to learn English and other subjects in creative, direct and realistic ways.
